Payroll history
Loading it cleanly — or fixing it when it went in wrong. I've rescued clients whose history was loaded incorrectly and gotten it right in time for an accurate first year-end tax filing in Workday.
Workday Payroll · Fixed-Price Problem-Solving
Payroll history. Parallel testing. GL and workers' comp integrations. Reporting. The high-risk pieces that stall go-lives and break year-end. I come in, solve the specific problem at a fixed price, hand you a process you own, and leave you better than I found you.

A Different Kind of Engagement
Most firms want to embed and bill indefinitely. That's not how I work. Tell me the specific problem — the history that won't load, the parallel that won't reconcile, the integration that's quoting at thousands of dollars — and I'll give you a fixed price to solve exactly that.
When it's done, you'll have a repeatable process and you won't be dependent on me. That's the whole point.

What I Fix
Loading it cleanly — or fixing it when it went in wrong. I've rescued clients whose history was loaded incorrectly and gotten it right in time for an accurate first year-end tax filing in Workday.
Getting your payroll parallels to actually reconcile, so you can go live with confidence instead of crossed fingers.
Building and fixing the General Ledger integration so the money lands exactly where finance expects it.
Wiring up workers' comp so your reporting and premiums come out accurate, not approximate.
Need data moving between systems but don't want to pay for a full integration? I design report-driven processes — like off-cycle EIB loads — that meet the need for pennies on the dollar.
I can deploy from the ground up using Launch and Your Way. But what I'm best at is the surgical fix: the specific, high-stakes problem, solved and handed off.
Proof
A client needed exercised restricted stock from Fidelity posted back into Workday for tax purposes. A full Workday integration would have run into thousands of dollars. Instead, I built a process that pulls the right data out of Workday, formats it, and loads it through the off-cycle EIB — then handed it over so they had a repeatable process and weren't dependent on me.
Several clients came to me with payroll history that had been loaded incorrectly. I fixed it so their numbers were right for the tax filing covering their Workday go-live year — the difference between a clean year-end and a costly mess.
You'll know the cost before I start. One specific problem, one clear price, one clean handoff — no open-ended hours and no surprise invoices.
How It Works
Tell me what's broken. Every new company gets 30 minutes, no charge.
One specific problem, one clear proposal. No open-ended hours.
I do the work and keep you in the loop the whole way through.
You get a repeatable process you own — and I get out of your way.
Who You're Working With
Four decades in, there isn't much in payroll systems I haven't seen. That experience is exactly why I can walk into a stalled implementation, find the real problem fast, and fix it — instead of billing you while I learn it.
